We are Emily and Jenny, fellow neighbors who became early morning running buddies who became dear friends who became no shame, body-after-baby advocates for each other, who became lifting ladies, who became backyard business meeting/playdates, and girl boss wannabes.  We are wives and mothers first (with eight babies between us!), but between phonics lessons and diaper changes, dinner prep and mountains of laundry, you can find us talking 100 miles-per-hour about our passions of holiness and truth, weight lifting and community. Along with cultivating community, we have a heart for educating women on proper deadlift form and redefining strength as a fortitude that goes deeper than muscles and tendons and bones - that cuts to the very feminine soul. We believe women are more than just a body, and that fitness can be a balm to the soul.

Smitten wife, mama of five, homeschooler and nurse (on the very, very side), Emily is a recovering people-pleaser whose favorite things include deadlifts, feminine dresses, St. Therese, and 90s music playlists.  While she thoroughly enjoys hosting dance parties and serving British delicacies with her very sanguine husband, she is happiest in the company of life-giving friends, deep conversations, and drinking in the beauty of quiet, prayerful mornings...and fresh (not yet reheated) coffee!

Daughter of the King, wife to the strongest, most loyal man, mama to three blossoming littles, Jenny left a "real" job at a solid company after (finally) recognizing God's call to be wife and mother first.  Deep (over!) thinker, she thrives on quality time with dear friends, transcendent literature and boundless learning about this wild and mysterious life of ours.  Whether hiking, horseback riding, camping or sitting around a fire, family time exploring the outdoors sets her spirits high.
